We'll here goes our first attempt to blog. It has been such fun to feel in touch with loved ones who are far away and so I thought that maybe I could do the same thing. I had a beloved uncle who has experienced a health miracle and I felt like I was able to be a small part of it thanks to his daughters blogs on their sites. What a wonderful way to stay in touch. So, I'll try to keep blogging. We will experience a first this coming weekend with our family. Our oldest child, Colton, will be dancing with the "mock dance team" making fun of his sister who is on the real dance team for their high school. They will both be performing at half time. We are excited to see them and it is all in fun!!
Colton had an interesting experience the other day and we have recognized it for the miracle that it is. He and a friend were traveling on the freeway (about 80mph) when they heard a loud noise and all of a sudden the sunroof to his car shattered all over them. They are quite certain that they were struck by lightning. But, whatever it was, Colton has said that he doesn't know how he didn't lose control of the vehicle. What a tragedy that could have been. We are so grateful for the prayers of safety for our family that had been heard that day and we recognize the miracle that it was. I am so grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord that we experience each day.
